Podcast episodes gained – Podcast episodes completed = 0. Huh.

Anyway, this is a tough update to write because it’s been a tough couple of weeks. Without getting too much into it (maybe because I’m still trying to “uncollect” my thoughts), the summer has only been so relaxing so far, and I find myself dipping back into bad indulgences and habits to cope.

Back issues are kind of one of them? Now, my LCS had a huge quarter bin sale at one point and they’ve had a number of really good deals on books that were on my pull list; plus, this week is a 20% off sale week, so there may be more coming. That is, if the stuff on my list is available.

Overall, though, it’s been hard to find my way into some sort of pattern, and I see piles–both literal and metaphorical–that demand my attention. What I’m hoping is that during the next couple of weeks, I can tackle them. That will include finally writing a backlog of reviews that I’ve scribbled on legal pad pages.

So this is short but I hope that you’ll see more on these pages as I try to catch myself up.
