I haven’t written in this blog in a month.

This is not a good look.

I can’t say where the time has gone, to be honest. Aside from watching The Olympics and being constantly on edge because of my local, state, and national news, each week has been a constant look toward a weekend where I spend one day exhausted and the other day wishing I had another day to do something that is not a chore or running an errand. Even right now, I’m writing this in a weird state of simultaneously wanting to go back to bed (even though I know all I’ll do is lie awake) and feeling antsy because I should be doing something “productive.” And what I’ll probably do is sit around trying to figure out what I want to do and then lament that I really got nothing done.

Times like this are why I don’t make a big deal out of starting projects.
