What’s On My iPod?

I’ve been meaning to review podcasts here since it’s one of my four categories, but unlike, say, books or back issues that I’m reading or movies I’m watching, these aren’t pieces of physical media and a number of them are ongoing in the same way a television show would be, but a number of podcasts that I listen to don’t have a set storyline or seasons like a television show (although a number of them do). But you do see my dilemma–how do I actually account for and review these things, especially when they come and go?

Incoherent ramble over.  SO.  How am I going to get content out of this?  My rating system for streaming stuff is worth buying, worth the rental, waste of time, and that almost works but you don’t buy podcasts in the same way you buy or rent movies from Amazon Prime.  So it’s going to be more like worth subscribing, worth trying, waste of time.

I have finished a few limited-series podcasts in the last few months, although some of them remain on my iPod in case there’s another season or update episode and others that have podfaded remain on my iPod with the hopes that they will return.  I’m going to work my way through reviewing both the limited and the ongoing and might also offer up some thoughts on podcasting and my “career” as it is as a podcaster.

Here’s what’s currently on my iPod and that you can expect to be reviewed.
