The piles on my guestroom dresser are huge. Books, comics, posters that don’t have frames nor room space. It’s getting a little ridiculous.

November was just kind of strange, to be honest. Everything seemed put on pause in some cases. Even the writing I’ve been doing this year has gone slower (and as you can see, there were no blog posts despite my wanting to do several).

And now it’s the holidays, a time when taking on anything new or ramping anything up is a fool’s errand; plus, there’s clutter in the non-living places of the house because we decorated. While I get the “don’t try anything new over the holidays” mentality, especially when it comes to things like decluttering and weight loss, but I’ve been bothered by how much I’ve fallen back into old shitty habits.

I sound like a broken record, don’t I?
